Put away your spoon and bowl, because there’s a new way to eat breakfast cereal.
Always amusing, always creative, and always kitschtastic, pop culture humorist Charles Phoenix is back with a new recipe created in his famous test kitchen. It’s called the “Six-Layer Milk Soaked Cereal Cake with Frosted Flakes Frosting” and it’s a sugar-laden doozy.
Each layer uses a different breakfast cereal as its base, as so:
Layer 1 is Apple Jacks with spice cake;
Layer 2 is Trix with blue velvet cake;
Layer 3 is Cinnamon Toast Crunch with yellow cake;
Layer 4 is Cap’n Crunch (peanut butter) with chocolate cake;
Layer 5 is Froot Loops with red velvet cake;
and
Layer 6 is Cocoa Puffs with white cake.
(My teeth hurt just thinking about this!)
