Matt, Heather, Tiffany, & Ian, your Cokes are waiting for you at 7-Eleven in Alameda, Calif.
Was tooling around 7-Eleven the other night (don’t judge) and spotted this display of personalized Coke bottles.
Yes, your name might be on a bottle of Coke right this very minute. That is, if you have one of the 250 popular names –for teens and millennials– that Coca-Cola has chosen to replace its logo with in its new “Share a Coke” campaign.
It reminds me of those tourist shop products, like magnets, keychains, and mini bicycle license plates, that are emblazoned with popular names.
I check EVERY SINGLE TIME for a “Rusty” product (there is never one, of course). Be honest, who hasn’t looked for their name on those things?
There is no “Rusty” Coke bottle either. I checked.
The company thought of that. They allow you to personalize virtual Coke bottles with ANY name (or message) to “spread virtual happiness.”
So, I took a stab at making my own custom Coke bottle messages. Feel free to share. 🙂
