A knit shawl shaped like a giant maple leaf

Maple leaf knit shawl

My friend Paula put this up on Facebook and I thought it was too gorgeous not to share right away. It’s a hand-knit shawl designed by Natalia @ Elfmoda that looks like a giant maple leaf. The pattern is available to purchase directly from its designer at Ravelry.

Inspired by the beautiful maple tree leaves so prevalent in the fall, this shawl will be a stunning addition to your autumn wardrobe. It can be made in any lace to fingering weight yarn, but those with a high wool content will be best since it needs to be blocked aggressively. Suitable for adventurous beginners, intermediate and advanced knitters.
